Seesaw 2 has a small, six place Baby Unit on the first floor of the building. It consists of one playroom, a sleep room and a kitchen and bathroom. There are three full time staff and therefore a ratio of one staff to two babies. Although this is a smaller ratio than many other nurseries we feel this is necessary to give babies the attention they need.

We also have two double sized pushchairs so that they can be taken out when we have the opportunity – particularly in the summer for going to the park, etc.

At approximately 18 months the children transfer to downstairs. This is done gradually with the babies taken down regularly one at a time with one of the baby staff, to give them a chance to become familiar with the downstairs staff and children. They always love it and can't wait to get their hands on all that sand and paint!

Parents are asked to provide nappies, milk and food until their children are old enough to eat and drink the same as everybody else.

We look forward to showing you around!
